No Cost Lifetime, Limited Non-Factory Powertrain Warranty

Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville offers a No Cost Lifetime, Limited Non-Factory Powertrain Warranty. Our No Cost Lifetime, Limited Non-Factory Powertrain Warranty started in 2008, when Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville began underwriting a non-factory additional warranty. Toyota’s Limited Powertrain Warranty lasts for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville’s No Cost Lifetime, Limited Non-Factory Powertrain Warranty is a separate warranty that picks up once that warranty expires and last for your lifetime, for as long as you own your Toyota when you purchase your New Toyota from Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville.

This warranty is good nationwide for all qualifying pre-approved repairs, whether performed by Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville or not and is underwritten directly by Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville. While there is no deductible or mileage limit with our No Cost Lifetime, Limited Non-Factory Powertrain Warranty, there are certain minimum requirements for coverage.

The minimum requirements for qualifying repairs are:

1. The vehicle’s owner presents a copy of the vehicle’s registration to verify current ownership.
2. The vehicle’s owner presents a copy of the warranty document received at purchase.
3. The vehicle’s owner presents proof of standard maintenance having been performed (if ever services anywhere other than Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville)*
4. The repair must be a covered repair according to the warranty’s guidelines.
5. The repair must be pre-approved byFred Anderson Toyota of Asheville (if not being performed byFred Anderson Toyota of Asheville).

List of items covered includes but is not limited to: Lubricated Engine Parts such as: Intake Manifolds, Cylinder Heads, Water Pumps, Oil Gaskets or Seals; Lubricated Transmission Parts: Both Manual and Automatic Transmissions, Transfer cases, and Differentials; Lubricate Drive Axle Parts: Internal Parts, Drive Axle Shafts, Drive Axles, Drive Axle Wheel Bearings, Drive Axle Seals, and Constant Velocity Joints..

List of items not covered includes but is not limited to: Brakes, Tires, Catalytic Convertors, Filters, Radiators, Thermostats, Hoses, Bolts, Engine Mounts, Most Sensors, Belts, Power Steering, and Power Steering Rack, etc..

*Qualifying repairs covered by our No Cost Lifetime Limited Non-Factory Powertrain Warranty do not have to be performed at Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville. However, every repair submitted for coverage MUST be pre-approved by Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville before it is performed.

Regular maintenance items such as oil changes, filter changes, tire rotation and alignment, etc are available without an appointment! NOTE: For best experience in fulfilling recalls it is important to call ahead and schedule an appointment due to limited part availability.
